DA Sutra 30X 50 mg/30 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Sildenafil and Dapoxetine, which treats male erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. Sildenafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitor which works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation and enables its erection following sexual stimulation. Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the level of serotonin in nerves to increase the time taken to ejaculate and improve control over ejaculation.
Sildenafil was rapidly cleared from the body with a plasma elimination half-life of approximately 3–4 h over the dose range of 25 and 200 mg. These characteristics represent pharmacokinetic support for the effectiveness and appropriateness of sildenafil for the as-needed treatment of patients with ED.Dapoxetine is a white powder substance and water-insoluble. Taken 1–3 hours before sexual activity, it is rapidly absorbed in the body. Its maximum plasma concentration (Cmax) is reached 1–2 hours after oral administration.
