Delcar Forte 250 mg/5 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as a prescription. It should be taken with food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The treatment must be completed even if you feel better.
Diethylcarbamazine and Chlorpheniramine Maleate which treat parasitic infections. Diethylcarbamazine is an antiparasitic which works by decreasing the muscular activity and causing paralysis of the parasites (worms)
Diethylcarbamazine is well absorbed following oral administration with peak plasma concentrations reached within 1-2 hours. The elimination half life ranges from 10-12 hours. If the urine is alkalinized, renal excretion of unchanged drug is prevented and the half life of the drug increases.
Chlorpheniramine has a serum half-life of approximately 20 hours in adults, and elimination from the body is primarily by metabolism to monodesmethyl and didesmethyl compounds. The half-life is increased in the presence of renal dysfunction and decreased in children.

DIETHYLCARBAMAZINE+CHLORPHENIRAMINE can interact with antihistamine drugs (fexofenadine, loratadine, diphenhydramine), expectorant or cough syrups (chlorpheniramine, guaifenesin), analgesics (acetaminophen/paracetamol), anti-allergic medicine (montelukast).

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Delcar Forte 250 mg/5 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
