Depline Plus 12.5 mg/5 mg Tablet is taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. In case you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Never skip any dose and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor as it may worsen your symptoms. Taking this medicine for a long time may require regular monitoring of blood and liver functions.
Depline Plus 12.5 mg/5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amitriptyline and Chlordiazepoxide, which treats depression. Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating the mood and treat depression.
Amitriptyline undergoes extensive hepatic presystemic elimination, and its systemic bioavailability ranges from 33% to 62% after oral administration [2]. A highly lipophilic compound, amitriptyline is widely distributed throughout the body and extensively bound to tissue and plasma proteins.Chlordiazepoxide is a long-acting benzodiazepine drug. The half-life of Chlordiazepoxide is 5 – 30 hours but has an active benzodiazepine metabolite (desmethyldiazepam), which has a half-life of 36 – 200 hours.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Depline Plus 12.5 mg/5 mg Tablet.
Depline Plus 12.5 mg/5 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

This product contains 2 medicines (amitriptyline, chlordiazepoxide) and is used to treat mental/mood disorders such as depression with symptoms of anxiety. Amitriptyline belongs to a class of medications called tricyclic antidepressants.
AMITRIPTYLINE+CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE may have interaction with an anti-depressant (duloxetine, venlafaxine), anti-convulsant (gabapentin, pregabalin, topiramate), anti-thyroid (levothyroxine), and anti-anxiety (alprazolam), corticosteroid (fluticasone), beta-agonist (salmeterol), anti-anxiety (lorazepam), opioid analgesic (morphine) and diuretic (furosemide).
Do not chew, crush or break it. Depline Plus 12.5 mg/5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Depline Plus 12.5 mg/5 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
