Derisone L Respicap is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply it thinly and evenly over the area. Avoid covering the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
Derisone L Respicap may cause few side effects like burning sensation or irritation at the site of application. These are temporary and improve with time. However, if you experience any other symptoms which you think may be due to Derisone L Respicap, inform your doctor.
Levosalbutamol relaxes the smooth muscles of all airways, from the trachea to the terminal bronchioles. Increased cyclic AMP concentrations are also associated with the inhibition of the release of mediators from mast cells in the airways.
Budesonide is a potent topical anti-inflammatory agent. [19] It binds and activates glucocorticoid receptors (GR) in the effector cell (e.g., bronchial) cytoplasm that allows the translocation of this budesonide-GR complex in the bronchi nucleus, which binds to both HDCA2 and CBP
Bromhexine hydrochloride is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and undergoes extensive first-pass metabolism in the liver. Its oral bioavailability is stated to be only about 20%. It is widely distributed to body tissues and is highly bound to plasma proteins.
Levosalbutamol elicits an equal or slightly larger response than an equivalent dose of the racemic mixture. This is probably due to competitive inhibition between the enantiomers at beta-adrenoceptors. Pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic relationships for levosalbutamol show relatively large interindividual variations

Contraindications. Bromhexine is contraindicated for use in patients with known hypersensitivity or idiosyncratic reaction to bromhexine hydrochloride

If you have a history of vaginal bleeding or bloody discharge during the first 6 months of pregnancy.
Derisone L Respicap may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Derisone L Respicap may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Derisone L Respicap is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
LEVOSALBUTAMOL+BUDESONIDE drugs Levosalbutamol and Budesonide that is used to prevent or treat symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) such as shortness of breath, coughing or wheezing (whistling sound while breathing).
The risk or severity of hypokalemia can be increased when Budesonide is combined with Levosalbutamol. The risk or severity of hypertension can be increased when Levosalbutamol is combined with Bumadizone. The risk or severity of hypokalemia can be increased when Levosalbutamol is combined with Bumetanide

If you miss a dose of Derisone L Respicap, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Levosalbutamol
Levosalbutamol is used to relieve symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) such as coughing, wheezing and breathlessness.
The inhalers are called 'reliever' inhalers as they give you quick relief from breathing problems.
Always keep the inhaler upright during loading of the dose and administration steps.
Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
Gargle with warm water after each inhalation to avoid any fungal infections in your mouth and throat.
If you need to use Levosalbutamol more than 3 times a week, it could be a sign that your breathing problem is not well controlled. Talk to your doctor about it.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart diseases or if you experience heart racing, headache, or chest pain.
Beclometasone
Beclometasone helps treat inflammation, severe allergies, flare-ups of ongoing illnesses, and many other medical problems that require either reduction of inflammation or suppression of the immune system.
Do not use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
Beclometasone can make it harder for you to fight off infections. Notify your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as a fever or sore throat.
Side effects such as mood changes or stomach problems can happen when you start taking Beclometasone. Inform your doctor if this bothers you.
Do not stop taking Beclometasone suddenly without talking to your doctor first as it may worsen your symptoms.

Levosalbutamol works by widening the air passages in your lungs so that air can flow into your lungs more freely. For people with asthma, Levosalbutamol helps to relieve symptoms such as coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath, particularly at night.
Q. How should I take Levosalbutamol?
Levosalbutamol should be taken in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Levosalbutamol can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day to reduce the chances of a missed dose. However, it is advisable to take Levosalbutamol just before bedtime with a glass of water.
Q. What if I forget to take a dose of Levosalbutamol?
If you forget a dose of Levosalbutamol, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose on the prescribed time. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.
Q. What would happen if I take higher than the recommended dose of Levosalbutamol?
Taking a higher than the recommended dose of Levosalbutamol may cause seizures, chest pain, nervousness, headache, dry mouth, nausea, dizziness and lack of energy. High doses of Levosalbutamol may also cause fast, irregular or pounding heartbeat, uncontrollable shaking of any part of the body and difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep. In any such case, seek immediate medical attention.
Q. What is thrush? Can Beclometasone cause thrush?
Thrush is a fungal infection of the nose and throat caused by candida. Beclometasone can cause thrush as a common side effect. To avoid getting fungal infections, you should thoroughly rinse your mouth after using a nasal spray. If you experience any redness or white colored patches in your nose or mouth, inform your doctor.
Q. How does Beclometasone work?
Beclometasone is a corticosteroid, which works by decreasing the inflammation caused by allergies. It reduces inflammation by blocking the release of certain natural substances that cause allergic symptoms such as swelling, redness and pain.
Q. How long does Beclometasone take to start working?
The time required by Beclometasone to start showing its effects may differ from person to person. Usually, it starts showing relief within 8 hours of starting Beclometasone. It may even take several days before you see maximum benefits. In order to improve your symptoms faster, it is important to take the medicine regularly as it increases efficiency of the medicine.
Q. My friend developed a severe allergic reaction when she started Beclometasone. Could it be due to Beclometasone even though it is used for allergy purposes?
In very rare cases, Beclometasone can cause serious allergic reactions such as rash, hives, breathing difficulty, swelling of the face, throat and tongue. It may also cause low blood pressure which may further cause lightheadedness and the patient may even faint. You should immediately contact your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms as it could be life threatening.
