Inform your doctor if you have known allergies from this medicine. The common side effects of this medicine include hair loss, rashes, drowsiness, headache, itching, and dry skin.If these side effects or any other symptoms which you think are because of this medicine persist for a longer duration, please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or are suffering from any other disease.
Dermiscab Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Lindane and Cetrimide. It works kills microorganisms that cause scabies. It is also potent in paralyzing and killing the lice and their eggs.
Lindane is a scabicide that is essentially an organochloride insecticide. Lindane is an organochloride insecticide that has similar neurotoxic protperties to DDT. It exerts its parasiticidal action by being directly absorbed through the parasite's exoskeleton (primarily lice, or scabies) and their ova.cetrimide dissociates to a biologically-active cation and an inactive anion. Cetrimide is inactive towards bacterial spores, it is effective against some viruses and has variable anti-fungal activity. The cation is also responsible for the surfactant activity.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

CETRIMIDE+LINDANE may interact with an anti-depressant (bupropion), antipsychotics (risperidone, olanzapine, prochlorperazine), analgesic (methocarbamol), Alzheimer’s drug (donepezil), immunosuppressants (cyclosporine, tacrolimus), antibiotic (ampicillin, ciprofloxacin, imipenem), anti-TB drug (isoniazid) and theophylline.
Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Shake it well and apply to the area evenly.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Dermiscab Lotion, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Dermiscab Lotion is prescribed for the treatment of scabies (a condition where tiny insects infest and irritate your skin).
Apply a thin layer of this medicine all over the body and leave it for 8-14 hours before taking a bath or shower.
Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
You will still be itchy for a while after successful treatment. If the itching becomes troublesome to you, consult your doctor to ease this. Moisturizing creams can provide temporary relief from itching.
Clothes, towels, and bed linen should be machine-washed with hot water after the first application of treatment. This helps kills the scabies mites.
