Dermonorm 250mg Tablet works by killing and stopping the growth of fungus that is causing the infection. It helps treat infections of the skin, nails, hair, or scalp. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Make sure you complete the full course of treatment.
Depending on the species, 10%–50% of a griseofulvin dose is excreted almost exclusively as metabolites in the urine, and the remainder in the feces for ~4–5 days after administration. The elimination half-life of griseofulvin is ~24 hr in several species.

Griseofulvin is indicated for the treatment of the following ringworm infections; tinea corporis (ringworm of the body), tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (ringworm of the groin and thigh), tinea barbae (barber's itch), tinea capitis (ringworm of the scalp), and tinea unguium
GRISEOFULVIN may interact with pain killers (aspirin), antiepileptic drugs (carbamazepine), antifungals (ketoconazole), anti-asthma drugs (montelukast), and blood thinners (warfarin).
Do not chew, crush or break it. Dermonorm 250mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
