Dewaxo Ear Drop is to be used only in the affected ear. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Check the label for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
It helps to soften, loosen, and remove the earwax. Too much earwax can block the ear canal and reduce hearing. This medication releases oxygen and starts to foam when it comes in contact with the skin. The foaming helps break up and remove the earwax.
Paradichlorobenzene + Benzocaine + Chlorbutol is a combination of two medicines: Paradichlorobenzene , Benzocaine and Chlorbutol which treat ear infections. Paradichlorobenzene is an ear wax softener which dissolves the ear wax while exerting antibacterial and antifungal actions. Benzocaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases sensation of pain.

Hypersensitivity to Dewaxo Ear Drops is a contraindication. In addition, Dewaxo Ear Drops should not be used if you have the following conditions:

Heart block

PARADICHLOROBENZENE+BENZOCAINE+CHLORBUTOL+TURPENTINE OIL should not be used in patients with the inflamed ear canal, perforated eardrum, and eczema (skin inflammation) on the outer ear.
Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside ear.

If you miss a dose of Dewaxo Ear Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

The best time to use this medicine is before you go to bed.
Put drops in the ear without touching the dropper to the ear. Stay on the side for 2 minutes or put a cotton plug in the ear.
To make sure that the right amount of medication is given, and to avoid touching the ear with the dropper, have another person give the drops if possible.
Never put cotton bud or anything else in your ear to try and clear the wax yourself.
Make sure not to use the open bottle more than 4 weeks.
