Dexapin C Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Use of this medicine may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application in some people. These are usually temporary and resolve on their own. However, if they persist or get worse, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, rinse it with plenty of water.
Do not use this medicine if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine. To make sure it is safe for you, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery immediately after administering this medicine as it may cause temporary blurring of vision.
Dexapin C Eye Drops is used to treat the swelling of the middle layer of the eye (uvea) called uveitis. It reduces the pain, swelling and redness in the inside of the eyes. It also kills or prevents the growth of bacteria that can cause infection in the eyes.
Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone is a combination of three medicines: Atropine , Chloramphenicol and Dexamethasone. Atropine is an anticholinergic medicine which works by making the pupil of your eye larger and relax the muscles in your eye. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Dexamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Hypersensitivity to Dexapin C Eye Drops is a contraindication. In addition, Dexapin C Eye Drops should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Concomitant use of penicillins
Hypersensitivity
Large doses in neonates
Narrow angle glaucoma
Nursing
Pregnancy
Sulfa allergy
Systemic fungal infection

This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Dexapin C Eye Drops may interact with the following drugs and products:
Amoxicillin

Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Dexapin C Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Dexapin C Eye Drop is used for the treatment of uveitis.
You should wash your hands after using the eye drops and great care should be taken to avoid getting the product into the mouth.
To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
After applying Dexapin C Eye Drop, close your eyes, and place one finger at the corner of your eye. Apply gentle pressure for 1 to 2 minutes before opening your eyes. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
Do not wear contact lenses during treatment and for 24 hours after your last dose.
The eye drops should be discarded 4 weeks after the first opening.
Inform your doctor if you have been told you have a higher than normal pressure in your eye, or if you have glaucoma.
Dexapin C Eye Drop may cause blurred vision which may last for some time. Make sure you can see clearly again before you drive and before you use tools or machines.
