Diapar Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Diapar Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen. Domperidone helps to control vomiting. It also increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. This prevents nausea and vomiting caused due to migraine.
DOMPERIDONE+PARACETAMOL is a combination of drugs namely; Domperidone and Paracetamol. Domperidone is a prokinetic that prevents nausea and vomiting symptoms by blocking certain receptors (like dopamine and serotonin) that stimulate the vomiting centre (chemoreceptor trigger zone - CTZ) located in the brain.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Diapar Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Diapar Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of Diapar Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Diapar Tablet.

Do not chew, crush or break it. Diapar Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Diapar Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Diapar Tablet helps to ease the pain you feel during a migraine headache as well as helps to stop you from feeling sick.
Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.

No, there is no report of any patient getting addicted to Diapar Tablet.

Yes, Diapar Tablet can cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with the underlying liver disease.
