Dicka XP Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor.
Serratiopeptidase acts as an anti-inflammatory agent by regulating inflammatory cytokines and hence the onset of chronic inflammation. It significantly modifies cell adhesion molecules that guide inflammatory cells to the sites of inflammation.
diclofenac exerts its action via inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) with relative equipotency.
Serratiopeptidase reduces pain and swelling without inhibiting prostaglandins and has no gastrointestinal adverse effects. It also acts by enhancing blood circulation due to proteolytic effect, removing damaged and denatured proteins and cellular debris, and modulating inflammatory cytokines.
Diclofenac binds extensively to plasma albumin. The area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) of diclofenac is proportional to the dose for oral doses between 25 to 150 mg. Substantial concentrations of drug are attained in synovial fluid, which is the proposed site of action for NSAIDs.

Diclofenac is indicated for treatment of primary dysmenorrhea, for relief of mild to moderate pain, for relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, for relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, for relief of symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis and for relief of acute migraine symptoms.

Yes, the use of Dicka XP Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medicine. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicines without speaking to a doctor.
Q. Can the use of Dicka XP Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, the use of Dicka XP Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
Q. Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Dicka XP Tablet?
The use of Dicka XP Tablet is considered to be harmful in patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine or in patients with known allergy to other painkillers (NSAIDs). The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Dicka XP Tablet can be taken with Vitamin B-complex preparations. While Dicka XP Tablet helps to relieve pain, Vitamin B-complex can help to correct the vitamin deficiency that might be causing the symptoms.

No, Dicka XP Tablet preferably should not be taken for stomach pain without consulting a physician. This drug can increase stomach acid secretion which may aggravate an unknown underlying condition.
