Dimol 40 Tablet is best taken after meals preferably at bedtime. Take it in the exact dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Basic Information

Mechanism Of Action

Dimol 40 Tablet effectively relieves abdominal pain due to excess gas formation in the stomach. It breaks gas bubbles and thus helps in the easy passage of gas. This reduces pain as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort.

Pharmacokinets

As dimethicone is pharmacologically inert and it is not absorbed, pharmacokinetic studies regarding the volume of distribution are not relevant. Dimethicone 410 does not bind to plasma proteins as it is not absorbed. Dimethicone 410 is not metabolized and it is excreted unchanged.

This medication is used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations (such as diaper rash, skin burns from radiation therapy). Emollients are substances that soften and moisturize the skin and decrease itching and flaking.

Dimol Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:

Effects Of Missed Dosage

If you miss a dose of Dimol 40 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
