Dimol 40 Tablet is best taken after meals preferably at bedtime. Take it in the exact dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor and doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Dimol 40 Tablet effectively relieves abdominal pain due to excess gas formation in the stomach. It breaks gas bubbles and thus helps in the easy passage of gas. This reduces pain as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort.
As dimethicone is pharmacologically inert and it is not absorbed, pharmacokinetic studies regarding the volume of distribution are not relevant. Dimethicone 410 does not bind to plasma proteins as it is not absorbed. Dimethicone 410 is not metabolized and it is excreted unchanged.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

This medication is used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations (such as diaper rash, skin burns from radiation therapy). Emollients are substances that soften and moisturize the skin and decrease itching and flaking.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Dimol Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Dimol Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:
Levothyroxine
Phenytoin
Do not chew, crush or break it. Dimol 40 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Dimol 40 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
