Dinor Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Keep taking this medicine even during your menstrual periods.
Dienogest acts as an agonist at the progesterone receptor (PR) with weak affinity that is comparable to that of progesterone but has a very potent progestagenic effect in the endometrium, causing endometrial atrophy after prolonged use 2.
Pharmacokinetics. Dienogest is rapidly absorbed with oral administration and has high bioavailability of approximately 90%. Peak levels of dienogest occur within approximately 2 hours after an oral dose.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Dinor Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Dinor Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Dinor Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

You have been prescribed Dinor Tablet for the treatment of pelvic pain associated with endometriosis.
Take it without any break, preferably at the same time everyday.
Do not use hormonal contraceptives while taking this medicine. If required, use non-hormonal methods of contraception such as condoms.
You may experience infrequent or irregular menstrual bleeding patterns. Consult your doctor if this bothers you.
