Disof Drop prevents the formation and accumulation of gas. It also facilitates the passage of gas and allows patients to excrete a greater volume of gas thereby reduces uncomfortable or painful pressure in the stomach and intestines.This medicine is taken with meals preferably at bedtime in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor and doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Disof Drop is an antifoaming medicine. It disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
Simethicone decreases the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, facilitating their expulsion. 2 It has a short duration of action as it is generally given as needed, and a wide therapeutic index as it is not systemically absorbed.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Upset stomach

General Information. Simethicone is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to simethicone or any component of the inactive ingredients.
Breast-feeding. Studies have not been conducted to determine if simethicone is excreted in human milk.
Pregnancy.
Phenylketonuria.
Disof Drop is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Disof Drop. Please consult your doctor.
Disof Drop is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Simethicone is indicated for the treatment of bloating, pressure, and cramps caused by gas. 4 Simethicone is also used as part of bowel preparation for colonoscopies.
Inform your doctor if you have ileus disease, thyroid problems, obstructive gastrointestinal disorders, or phenylketonuria.

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Disof Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
