Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. FSH, the active component of urofollitropin is the primary hormone responsible for follicular recruitment and development. FSH binds to the follicle stimulating hormone receptor which is a G-coupled transmembrane receptor.
Urofollitropin is a form of purified human follicle stimulating hormone used to treat infertility in females by inducing follicle development in women without primary ovarian failure. Urofollitropin is a urinary-derived follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) that is extracted and purified from human urine samples.
