Dolide MR Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It is best taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor.Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, heartburn, and indigestion. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them.
Nedolide MR Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Nedolide MR Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours and the maximum benefit can take 2 to 4 weeks or sometimes longer.
Nimesulide is rapidly distributed and has an apparent volume of distribution ranging between 0.18 and 0.39 L/kg. It is extensively bound to albumin; the unbound fraction in plasma was 1%. The unbound fraction increased to 2 and 4% in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency.It distributes rapidly and evenly throughout most tissues and fluids and has a volume of distribution of approximately 0.9L/kg. 10 to 20% of the drug is bound to red blood cells. Paracetamol is extensively metabolised (predominantly in the liver), the major metabolites being the sulphate and glucuronide conjugates.Analysis of plasma samples indicated a rapid absorption and rapid elimination of chlorzoxazone. Average values of the elimination half-life and plasma clearance were 1.12 +/- 0.48 hr and 148.0 +/- 39.9 ml/min, respectively.

Renal impairment
Dolide MR Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Dolide MR Tablet.

It helps in treating pain by blocking the chemical messenger in the brain responsible for causing fever, pain and inflammation.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Dolide MR Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Dolide MR Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:
Alcohol
Alprazolam
Atorvastatin
Cetirizine
Codeine
Cyclosporine
Diazepam
Digitalis glycosides
Diphenhydramine
Esomeprazole
Do not chew, crush or break it. Dolide MR Tablet is to be taken with food.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Dolide MR Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Take it with food or milk to prevent an upset stomach.
You may see results within 1.5 to 2 hours after taking Dolide MR Tablet. Take it exactly as advised by your doctor.
Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine as it can increase your risk of stomach problems.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures.
Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications with paracetamol in them.
Along with taking Dolide MR Tablet, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from muscle pain.
