Doloflam Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. In general, you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms, for the shortest possible time. You should take this medicine regularly while you need it. Try not to miss doses as this will make the medicine less effective.
It interferes with the production of a chemical called prostaglandins, which is responsible for swelling and pain. It controls fever and promotes cartilage matrix synthesis.
Nimesulide is rapidly distributed and has an apparent volume of distribution ranging between 0.18 and 0.39 L/kg. It is extensively bound to albumin; the unbound fraction in plasma was 1%. The unbound fraction increased to 2 and 4% in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency.

Nimesulide is a relatively COX-2 selective, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic and antipyretic properties. Its approved indications are the treatment of acute pain, the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis and primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescents and adults above 12 years old.
NIMESULIDE may interact with respiratory medicines (theophylline), blood thinners (warfarin), antidiabetics (insulin), anti-epileptics (phenytoin), anti-cancer agents (methotrexate), immune system affecting medicines (cyclosporine), antacids, and anti-HIV (didanosine).
Do not chew, crush or break it. Doloflam Tablet is to be taken with food.

If you miss a dose of Doloflam Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
