Domax CZ Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. It is better to take it with food to avoid stomach upset. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Domax CZ Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Cinnarizine. Domperidone is an antiemetic and a prokinetic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine (a chemical messenger) in the brain which causes nausea and vomiting.
The absorption of domperidone was very rapid, with mean peak plasma concentration (Cmax) values of 18.8, 15.0, and 20.7 ng/mL attained at 0.9, 1.2, and 0.6 hours after the administration of base tablet, maleate tablet, and solution, respectively. The mean elimination half-life (t1/2) ranged from 12.6 to 16.0 hours.Cinnarizine is most commonly taken orally, in tablet form, with frequency and amount of dosage varying depending on the reason for taking the medication. Once ingested, the substance is absorbed quite rapidly and reaches a peak plasma concentration in 1–3 hours post-administration.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Domax CZ Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Domax CZ Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Domperidone+Cinnarizine is used in the treatment of vertigo.Domperidone is an antiemetic and a prokinetic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine (a chemical messenger) in the brain which causes nausea and vomiting. Cinnarizine is calcium channel antagonist which works by preventing constriction of the blood vessels of the inner ear. This improves the microcirculation of the ear.
CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE may interact with antidepressants (citalopram, escitalopram, amitriptyline, dosulepin, imipramine), anti-fungal agents (ketoconazole, fluconazole, voriconazole), antibiotics (erythromycin, clarithromycin, telithromycin, moxifloxacin, pentamidine), heart-related drugs (amiodarone, dronedarone, quinidine, disopyramide, dofetilide, sotalol, diltiazem, verapamil), antipsychotics (haloperidol, pimozide, sertindole), stomach related drugs (cisapride, dolasetron, prucalopride), anti-allergic drugs (mequitazine, mizolastine), anti-malarial medicine (halofantrine), anti-cancer drugs (toremifene, vandetanib, vincamine), drugs treating HIV/AIDS (ritonavir), and pain killers (opioids).

If you miss a dose of Domax CZ Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

You have been prescribed Domax CZ Tablet to relieve vertigo (dizziness) and nausea associated with it. It can make you feel dizzy, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down for a long time.
Take it at the same time each day to maintain a steady amount of the medicine in your body.
Do not take it for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
Domax CZ Tablet can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them.

You should continue to take Domax CZ Tablet until your doctor asks you to stop it. If you stop taking Domax CZ Tablet sooner than advised, the symptoms of vertigo may reappear (dizziness and spinning).

Yes, Domax CZ Tablet can make you feel drowsy. Avoid driving, operating machinery, working at heights or participating in potentially dangerous activities until you know how this medicine affects you.

Visit the nearest emergency department if you accidentally take too much of Domax CZ Tablet.
Q. What if I miss a dose of Domax CZ Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Domax CZ Tablet, you should skip the missed dose and take the next dose at its usual time and quantity. You should not take a double dose of Domax CZ Tablet to make up for a missed dose.
