Donep-M Forte Tablet can be taken with or without food, but you may take it with food to avoid a stomach upset. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. Do not skip any doses, but if you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and do not stop taking it suddenly.
Donep-M Forte Tablet works by decreasing the abnormal activity in your brain. Thus it improves memory, awareness, and the ability to perform daily functions. Donep-M Forte Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhoea, common cold, loss of appetite, dizziness, etc.
The pharmacokinetic disposition of donepezil was observed to be both linear and dose proportional following single-dose administration. The mean peak plasma concentration (Cmax) of donepezil was observed at 4.1±1.5 h. The mean terminal disposition half-life was 81.5±22.0 h.The pharmacokinetics (PK) of memantine is proportional in a wide dose range and the apparent elimination half-life (T½) is approximately 60–70 h. Memantine is mainly excreted from the kidney, and hardly metabolized in the liver.

Donep-M Forte Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Donep-M Forte Tablet.

Memantine and donepezil hydrochlorides extended-release capsules are indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe dementia of the Alzheimer's type in patients stabilized on 10 mg of donepezil hydrochloride once daily.
DONEPEZIL+MEMANTINE is known to interact in patients with kidney or liver disease, asthma, heart disease, history of seizures, stomach ulcers, history of intestinal bleeding, urination problems, bladder obstruction.
Do not chew, crush or break it. Donep-M Forte Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Store below 25°C
If you miss a dose of Donep-M Forte Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Donep-M Forte Tablet is used for the symptomatic treatment of alzheimer's disease. It does not cure alzheimer's, but may help with brain function and doing daily activities.
Monitor your body weight regularly as both Donep-M Forte Tablet and alzheimer's disease can cause weight loss.
Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures as it may raise the chances of seizure if you had them in the past.
It may cause stomach ulcers, specially if you are also taking medications for inflammation or pain. Talk to your doctor if you vomit blood or have black colored stools.
