Ocular hypertension is a condition where the pressure inside the eye is higher than normal eye pressure due to fluid build-up. Dortas-T Eye Drop increases the flow of fluid from inside the eye into the bloodstream thereby lowering the increased eye pressure. This prevents further damage or complications such as change in vision or even loss of vision. You should only use Dortas-T Eye Drop in the affected eye and take it regularly as prescribed by your doctor.
Glaucoma is an eye disease that damages the optic nerve which is essential for proper vision. This damage is often caused by an abnormally high pressure in the eye. Dortas-T Eye Drop is used to reduce swelling and pressure inside the eye. This helps prevent complications of glaucoma such as blindness and improves the vision. This medicine may be used alone or with other eye drops. Glaucoma cannot be prevented. Frequent monitoring, regular checkups can help detect the disease in its early stages.

Dortas-T Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It decreases the fluid (aqueous humor) production in the eye which relieves the pressure in the eye. This way it relieves the symptoms.
Dortas T Eye Drops 5 ml is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The doctor will adjust the dose you are given according to your condition and response to the medicine. In some cases, you may experience itching, stinging sensation, burning sensation in the eye, redness, blurred vision, tiredness, drowsiness, headache and dryness in the mouth in some cases. Most of these side effects of Dortas T Eye Drops 5 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
0.2 mg 3 times daily before meals.
Store at room temperature in a tightly closed container.
If you miss a dose of Dortas-T Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Remove contact lenses before using Dortas-T Eye Drop, and wait at least 15 minutes before re-inserting them.

HOW CAN I USE DORTAS T EYE DROPS 5ML ?
Dortas T Eye Drops 5 ml is for external use only. Wash your hands thoroughly before applying to avoid contamination and do not touch the tip of the solution dropper. Remove your contact lenses before using, if you are wearing any. Lift and tilt your head back, look up and pull down the lower lid and put the drops in the affected eye.

Keep the container tightly closed after its every use. Please do not touch the dropper since it contaminates the medication and affects the eye. Store it according to the instructions labeled on the leaflet. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
