Dotcam P 0.25mg/20mg Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor as it has high habit-forming potential. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important not to stop taking this medicine suddenly as it may cause withdrawal symptoms. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine as this may reduce its effectiveness.
Dotcam P 0.25mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Alprazolam and Propranolol. Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in brain. Propranolol is a beta blocker which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers on the heart and blood vessels. This reduces heart rate, blood pressure, and strain on the heart.
After single I mg oral doses in humans, typical pharmacokinetic variables for alprazolam are: a peak plasma concentration 12 to 22 ILg/L occurring 0.7 to 1.8h postdose, a volume of distri- bution of 0.8 to I. 3 L/kg, elimination half-life of 9 to 16h and clearance of 0.7 to 1.5 mlfmin/ kg.The pharmacokinetics of propranolol vary according to the route and duration of administration. After i.v. administration, the decline in drug concentrations is biphasic and the drug is cleared very efficiently by the liver, so that its elimination is dependent largely on liver blood flow.

Acute narrow angle glaucoma
Alcohol
Cardiogenic shock
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Congestive heart failure
Digitalis and verapamil therapy
Haemorrhage
Hypersensitivity
Hypoglycaemia
Dotcam P 0.25mg/20mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Dotcam P 0.25mg/20mg Tablet.
Dotcam P 0.25mg/20mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Dotcam P Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Dotcam P Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:
Aluminum hydroxide
Atropine
Bepridil
Carbamazepine
Chlorpromazine
Cimetidine
Clonidine
Diazepam
Digoxin
Diltiazem
Do not chew, crush or break it. Dotcam P 0.25mg/20mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Dotcam P 0.25mg/20mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Dotcam P 0.25mg/20mg Tablet is used for the treatement of anxiety.
It can take a week or two after starting this treatment before the effect begins to build up, and 4-6 weeks before you feel the full benefit. Do not stop taking it after a week or two, feeling it is not helping.
Do not stop taking Dotcam P 0.25mg/20mg Tablet unless your doctor tells you to do so. Stopping treatment suddenly can cause problems and your doctor will probably want you to reduce your dose gradually when this becomes necessary.
Avoid getting up too fast from a sitting or lying position, or you may feel dizzy. Get up slowly and steady yourself to prevent a fall.
If you are due to have an operation or dental treatment, it is important to tell the person carrying out the treatment that you are taking this medicine.
Try to keep your regular appointments with your doctor. This is so your doctor can check on your progress.
