Gliclazide in Dotzide Tablet increases those beta cells, thus producing more insulin, hence helps in lowering the blood sugar.
A single oral dose of 40 to 120 mg of gliclazide results in a Cmax of 2.2 to 8.0 µg/ml within 2 to 8 hours. Tmax and cmax are increased after repeated gliclazide administration. Steady state concentration is achieved after 2 days administration of 40 to 120 mg of gliclazide.

If you miss a dose of Dotzide 40mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
