DOXEPIN is known to interact with monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor (isocarboxazid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), antipsychotics (chlorpromazine, fluphenazine, perphenazine, prochlorperazine, thioridazine, trifluoperazine, bupropion), medication to treat stomach ulcer (cimetidine), thyroid hormone, anti-diabetic medications (tolazamide), opioid pain or cough relievers (such as codeine, hydrocodone), drugs for sleep or anxiety (such as alprazolam, loreazepam, zolpidem).
