To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Drink plenty of fluids (at least 6-8 glasses) while taking Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S. Do not take Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S for more than a week as it might cause dependency on Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S for a bowel movement. Consult your doctor before taking Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; your doctor will prescribe you Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S should not be given to children unless prescribed by a child specialist. Do not take Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S if you have galactosemia (galactose indigestion disorder). Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, or if you have to undergo a colonoscopy.
Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S work by retaining the water inside the intestines, which causes easy movement of the intestine. It also irritates and stimulates the intestinal cells, and produces contractions in the intestines, which in turn causes an easy bowel movement.
Bisacodyl is administered either orally or rectally. Bisacodyl distributes locally, and the circulating drug undergoes hepatic metabolism and is then excreted in the urine. Bisacodyl is minimally absorbed (15%), and the onset of action of the drug begins 6—8 hours after an oral dose.

Bisacodyl is contraindicated in patients with ileus, intestinal obstruction, acute abdominal conditions including appendicitis, acute inflammatory bowel diseases, and severe abdominal pain associated with nausea and vomiting which may be indicative of the aforementioned severe conditions.

It is not known whether Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S passes into the mother’s milk. Please consult your doctor before taking Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S if you are breastfeeding; your doctor will prescribe you Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S if the benefits outweigh the risks.
Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S belongs to the group of medicines called laxatives used to treat constipation. Constipation refers to infrequent bowel movements in which the stools are often dry, painful, and hard to pass.
Drug-Drug Interactions: Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S may have interaction with furosemide (used to treat oedema), docusate, and polyethylene glycol (used to treat constipation), ondansetron (used to prevent nausea and vomiting), water pills (diuretic drugs) and other laxative medicines.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Dulcoflex Natural Tablet 10'S may have interactions with irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal obstruction disorder, diabetes, and galactosemia (galactose indigestion disorder).

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or crush the tablet/capsule.Syrup/Suspension/Drops: Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack; shake the pack well before each use.
