Eldicet Tablet is taken in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. It is taken by mouth with food preferably at night before bedtime. Mechanism Of Action

Eldicet Tablet is an antispasmodic. It directly relaxes the colonic smooth muscle cells and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) which in turn relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

Pharmacokinets

Pinaverium bromide is a locally acting spasmolytic agent of the digestive tract. Its mechanism of action relies upon inhibition of calcium ion entrance into smooth muscle cells (calcium-antagonist effect).

Indications

 It is indicated for the treatment and relief of symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) including abdominal pain, bowel disturbances and intestinal discomfort; and treatment of symptoms related to functional disorders of biliary tract.

Drug-Drug Interactions: PINAVERIUM BROMIDE may interact with other anticholinergic/ antispasmodic medicines (e.g. hyoscine butyl bromide, ipratropium bromide, tiotropium bromide)

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you suffer from a hernia, galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
