Eyemist Eye Drop is usually taken when needed. Use the number of drops as advised by your doctor. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering any other medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Do not use a bottle if the seal is broken before you open it. Always wash your hands and do not touch the end of the dropper. This could infect your eye. This medicine may require long-term use and can be taken safely for as long as you need it.
The most common side effects of using this medicine are blurred or altered vision, and sometimes pain in the eye. Let your doctor know if you experience these symptoms but they are usually temporary. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires clear vision until you are sure you can do it safely. Consult your doctor if your condition does not improve or if the side effects bother you.
This medicine is not likely to affect or be affected by other medicines you use but tell your doctor if you have ever had glaucoma. Do not use it while wearing soft contact lenses and talk to your doctor if you develop an eye infection while using it.
Eyemist Eye Drop is an eye lubricant or artificial tears used to relieve dry eyes. This can happen because not enough tears are made to keep the eye lubricated. It helps to soothe the irritation and burning seen in dry eyes by maintaining proper lubrication of the eyes.
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) propels self-emulsifying drug delivery systems (SEDDS) to achieve the supersaturated state in gastrointestinal tract, which possesses important significance to enhance oral absorption for poorly water-soluble drugs.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

It is used to relieve dryness and irritation caused by reduced tear flow. It helps prevent damage to the eye in certain eye diseases. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose may also be used to moisten hard contact lenses and artificial eyes. In addition, it may be used in certain eye examinations.
Tell your doctor about any other medicine, supplement or OTC products you are taking.
If you use another eye drop product concomitantly with Eyemist, keep a minimum gap of 15 minutes between the application of two medicines.
Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Eyemist Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.

Eyemist Eye Drop belongs to a class of medicines called eye lubricants or artificial tears. It is available as eye drops. Eyemist Eye Drop is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using Eyemist Eye Drop too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.

If you are using it for dry eyes, instil 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed. If you are using it to lubricate soft and rigid gas-permeable lenses, apply 1 to 2 drops to each eye with the lenses on as needed or as directed by your doctor. Blink several times after pouring the drops. Consult your doctor if you are not sure.

Store at or below 25°C and out of the reach of children. Do not touch the tip of the container to any surface or eye(s), Replace the cap after every use. Remember not to use the eye drops after the expiry date or after 30 days of opening it.
