Fensupp 100 Suppository is for rectal use only. Remove the wrapper from the suppository before inserting it. Keep lying down for about 15 minutes after insertion so that the suppository does not come out before it melts. It starts working within one hour.
Nausea, constipation, anal irritation, anal itching, and black-colored stools are some of the side effects that might be seen with rectal administration. Inform your doctor immediately if any rash or allergic reaction is observed while taking this medicine. Pregnant and nursing women should use it under medical supervision only. It should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney disease or alcohol abuse. It is not recommended in patients with severe or active liver disease.
Fensupp suppositories contains diclofenac which reduces pain and swelling (analgesic and anti-inflammatory action) by inhibiting the chemical mediators responsible for producing redness, swelling and pain in your body. It offers relief in various types of muscular and joint pains.
Diclofenac binds extensively to plasma albumin. The area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) of diclofenac is proportional to the dose for oral doses between 25 to 150 mg. Substantial concentrations of drug are attained in synovial fluid, which is the proposed site of action for NSAIDs.

Diclofenac extended-release tablets (Voltaren XR), tablets (Cataflam), and delayed-release tablets (available generically) are used to relieve pain, tenderness, swelling, and stiffness caused by osteoarthritis (arthritis caused by a breakdown of the lining of the joints), and rheumatoid arthritis (arthritis caused by swelling of the lining of the joints).
DICLOFENAC may interact with painkillers (nimesulide, oxyphenbutazone, metamizole), anti-blood clotting agents (warfarin), blood pressure-lowering agents (hydrochlorothiazide) and medicines for mania (lithium). Inform your doctor if you are taking any of these.
