Flutas 500mg Injection is administered as a drip by a doctor or a nurse. You should not self-administer this medicine at home. Get the injection regularly to get the most benefit from it. You should not stop getting the injection before the full source is completed. If you stop treatment too early, the infection may return and if you miss doses you can increase your risk of infections that are resistant to further treatment. The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, nausea, rash, and vomiting. You could ask your doctor about ways of preventing or reducing these effects. You should stop taking the injection straight away if you have any signs of an allergic reaction or of heart problem. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, throat or face, swallowing or breathing problems, feeling dizzy or faint, and nausea.
Fluconazole interacts with 14-demethylase, a cytochrome P-450 enzyme responsible for catalyzing the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol. [4] As ergosterol forms a critical part of the fungal cell membrane, fluconazole inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol to increase cellular permeability.
The pharmacokinetics of fluconazole are similar following intravenous and oral dosing. Oral bioavailability is greater than 90%, and concentrations peak approximately 2 hours after dosing. The apparent volume of distribution is 0.7 L/kg, and plasma protein binding is low (12%).
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
