Genxtor Injection is a prescription medicine that must be administered by a healthcare professional. You must receive the exact dose of it as per the prescription. An overdose of this medicine may have serious side effects on the body.
Some common side effects of this medicine include rash, weakness, nausea, edema, loss of appetite, anemia, increased glucose level in the blood, increased blood lipid level, and increased alkaline phosphatase level in blood. If any of the side effects persist or bother you, consult the doctor immediately. Inform the doctor immediately if you experience any allergic reactions such as rash, shortness of breath, coughing, and swelling.
Before taking this medicine, it is important to consult your doctor if you have any ongoing medication for any underlying disease. Pregnant and breastfeeding women must inform the doctor prior to the initiation of this treatment. During the treatment, your doctor may advise you for some laboratory tests to know the effects of the medicine in the body.
Genxtor Injection is a kinase inhibitor. It shows its action by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that causes the multiplication of cancer cells. This may help slow the growth of tumors.
Temsirolimus is poorly absorbed orally and is usually given IV. It is extensively metabolized in the liver by cytochrome P450 3A4. Temsirolimus is extensively metabolized to sirolimus, the principal metabolite following intravenous administration.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Genxtor Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Genxtor Injection. Please consult your doctor.
Genxtor Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

The serum concentration of Temsirolimus can be increased when it is combined with Cannabidiol. The risk or severity of adverse effects can be increased when Capecitabine is combined with Temsirolimus. The risk or severity of bleeding can be increased when Caplacizumab is combined with Temsirolimus.

Genxtor Injection interferes with wound healing, so it is advisable to use with caution if you have any scheduled surgery.
Inform your doctor if you have diabetes as the use of Genxtor Injection might increase the level of blood sugar. Report excessive thirst or any increase in the volume or frequency of urination.
Report immediately for the occurrence of infections or any new or worsening abdominal pain or blood in their stools after using Genxtor Injection.
Your doctor will monitor your cholesterol level as Genxtor Injection might increase the level of serum triglycerides and cholesterol.
The use of live vaccines, and close contact with those who have received live vaccines, while on Genxtor Injection should be avoided.
