The most common side effects of this medicine include allergic reactions, headache, swelling of the breast in males, and acne. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have ever had heart disease, or had an ovarian cyst, or had thyroid gland disorder. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You should avoid alcohol or have to follow doctor advice related to diet while taking this medicine.

It is also used in assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF), which help women to become pregnant.
Recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (rFSH) is the latest advance in gonadotropin preparations by manufacturing the most purified and antigen-free product through recombinant DNA technology.

Hypersensitivity to Bravelle Injection is a contraindication. In addition, Bravelle Injection should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Abnormal uterine bleeding of undetermined origin
High levels of follicle stimulating hormone indicating primary gonadal failure
Hypersensitivity to this drug
Ovarian cyst or enlargement of undetermined origin, not due to polycystic ovary syndrome
Pregnancy
Sex hormone dependent tumors of the reproductive tract and accessory organ
Tumors of pituitary gland or hypothalamus
Uncontrolled non- gonadal endocrinopathies
Gonal-F 1050IU Injection is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Gonal-F 1050IU Injection. Please consult your doctor.

Do not use Gonal-F 1050IU Injection if you are already pregnant or breastfeeding.
Gonal-F 1050IU Injection stimulates the production of eggs in women undergoing treatment for infertility.
Your doctor may prescribe more than one medicine as part of your suggested pregnancy plan.
Pregnancy following treatment with Gonal-F 1050IU Injection is more likely to result in a multiple pregnancy (twins or more).
