Hemozen 250 MG Tablet normalizes the blood vessel walls and increases platelet count at the bleeding site. It acts by increasing the ability of platelets to stick together and helps in the formation of blood clots.
Hemozen 250 MG Tablet may cause side effects like skin rash, vomiting, nausea, headache and redness. Usually, these side effects get resolved with time. However, consult your doctor if any of these effects persist for a long time or worsen. Avoid using it if you are having medical conditions like porphyria (a rare disorder that mainly affects your skin or nervous system), fibroids (abnormal growth in the uterus), etc.
Hemozen 250 MG Tablet is a prescription medication. It can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will decide the dose of this medicine based on your condition and how you respond to it. You will be monitored carefully to check whether this medicine causes any allergic reaction.

Hemozen 250 MG Tablet acts by stabilizing the walls of the capillaries, increasing platelet aggregation to form clots. Thus it controls bleeding.
Pharmacokinetics: Absorption: Slowly and completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Time to peak plasma concentration: Approx 4-5 hours. Distribution: Crosses the placenta and enters breast milk.

Hemorrhage from small blood vessels. Menorrhagia. Treatment and prevention of periventricular hemorrhage in low birth-weight neonates.
ETAMSYLATE may interact with disease conditions, including bronchial asthma, acute porphyria, fever, non-cancerous growths or blood pigment disorder. So, inform your doctor about your medical condition.

If you forget to take a dose of Hemozen 250 MG Tablet, make sure that you remember to take your next dose when it is due. Do not take two doses at a time to make up for the missed one.
Never take more than the prescribed dose. Contact your doctor immediately if there is an overdose with Hemozen 250 MG Tablet. Symptoms of overdose may include a severe headache, nausea, diarrhoea, and rashes on the skin.
Take Hemozen 250 MG Tablet with or without food or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more or fewer doses than prescribed.
Start eating a small portion of meals and avoid spicy rich food. If you get diarrhoea while taking this medicine, consult your doctor immediately. Drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated.
Do not crush, break or chew Hemozen 250 MG Tablet in the mouth. Take the tablet immediately after peeling it from the strip.
Inform the doctor if you have a known allergy to this medicine. Besides taking Hemozen 250 MG Tablet, you can use a heating pad to get relief during periods. Report all your current medicines as well as your medical conditions to the doctor before receiving this medicine.
Keep away from the reach of children and pets. Ensure that the unused or expired medicine is disposed of properly.
