HHDERM CREAM helps to treat a wide variety of bacterial & fungal skin infections and psoriasis and atopic eczema, where mometasone furoate prevents inflammation by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that make the skin red, swollen and itchy, fusidic acid prevents the growth of bacteria and causes its destruction by inhibiting the synthesis of essential proteins that are essential for the bacteria to grow and clotrimazole works by destroying fungi by preventing it to form their protective that results in the prevention of occurrence of fungal infection.
Clotrimazole exerts its action primarily by damaging the permeability barrier in the fungal cytoplasmic membrane.Clotrimazole thereby inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol in a concentration-dependent manner by inhibiting the demethylation of 14 alpha lanosterol.Mometasone furoate is a corticosteroid drug that can be used for the treatment of asthma, rhinitis, and certain skin conditions Label 12,13. It has a glucocorticoid receptor binding affinity 22 times stronger than dexamethasone and higher than many other corticosteroids as well 2.Fusidic acid comes in a variety of formulations for oral, intravenous and topical use. After oral administration of 500 mg Cmax values range from 14.5-3.3 mg/l and an elimination half-life of 8.9-11.0 h.
