People with knee osteoarthritis suffer a very low concentration of hyaluronic acid in their synovial fluid. Intra-articular administration of HYALGAN 20MG supplements hyaluronic acid to the synovial fluid and lubricates and cushions the joint. It also provides relief from joint friction and pain.
HA reduces the action of joint nociceptors, which provides pain reduction within the joint. Sensitized nociceptive terminals within the joint tissue are affected by HA concentration, reducing the pain response exhibited by these terminals
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
