Ismigen Tablet is either given alone or in combination with some other medicines. It should not be used to treat any existing infections of the respiratory tract. It should be taken on empty, but better to take it at same time every day to attain most benefits. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Ismigen Tablet is an immunostimulant. It works by modulating the immune system to trigger a protective response against bacteria or viruses that cause recurrent airway infections. This boosts immunity against these infections.

The use of bacterial antigens obtained by mechanical or chemical lysis is thus able to activate monocytic-macrophagic cells of the submucosa, inducing the differentiation through immature dendritic cells and their maturation in mature dendritic cells.
