Jolivel 50mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.
Some common side effects of this medicine include nasal congestion, fatigue, and dryness in the mouth. Initially, this medicine may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure when you change positions, so it is better to rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It even causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. It is important to inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood as it may lead to suicidal thoughts. If you have been taking this medicine for a long time, regular monitoring liver function may be required.
Jolivel 50mg Tablet increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating mood and treat depression.
Opipramol is rapidly and completely absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract. The bioavailability of opipramol amounts to 94%. After single oral administration of 50 mg, the peak plasma concentration of the drug is reached after 3.3 hours and amounts to 15.6 ng/mL.

Paralytic ileus.
Jolivel 50mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Jolivel 50mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

The risk or severity of gastrointestinal bleeding can be increased when Opipramol is combined with Aminophenazone. The risk or severity of CNS depression can be increased when Amisulpride is combined with Opipramol. The risk or severity of CNS depression can be increased when Amitriptyline is combined with Opipramol.

Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Jolivel 50mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.\n\n
