Kinaplat Injection undergoes changes inside the body and interacts with DNA (genetic material). It causes certain changes in the DNA, resulting in problems in DNA synthesis leading to anti-cancer effects.
The pharmacokinetics of oxaliplatin are described by a 3-compartment model. The drug rapidly crosses the cellular membrane as a result of its lipophilicity. Hence, at the end of a 2-hour infusion, approximately 40% of the blood platinum is found in erythrocytes.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
