LAB 5MG INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients with asthma, hypotension (low blood pressure) or shock. It is also not suitable for use in patients with heart block, history of heart attack or heart failure.

LAB 5MG INJECTION is an alpha, beta-blocker. Signs of allergic reactions (such as skin rash, swelling of the face, lips, mouth, or throat which can lead to difficulty in breathing or swallowing)
Difficulty in breathing, swollen ankles, abnormal heart rate
Severe skin reactions (such as skin rash with itching and redness, blistering and peeling of skin, skin swelling and inflammation of mucous membrane, joint pain with fever)
Signs of liver problems (yellowing of skin and whites of the eye, dark urine and pale stools)
Lung inflammation causing cough and breathing problems
Labetalol is contraindicated in cardiogenic shock, sinus bradycardia and greater than first degree block, bronchial asthma, congestive heart failure unless the failure is secondary to a tachyarrhythmia treatable with Labetalol.
