Your child may start to feel better after a few regular doses. However, you must still complete the prescribed dose to ensure maximum benefit. Moreover, stopping the medicine abruptly may worsen your child’s condition. This medicine may cause some minor and temporary side effects like vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, rash, and headache. Usually, these episodes subside once your child’s body adapts to the medicine. However, in case these effects persist or start bothering your child, consult your child’s doctor without any delay.
Let your child’s doctor know if your child is already taking any medicines. Also, narrate your child’s complete medical history, including any prior episodes of allergy, heart problem, blood disorder, vascular disorders, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, skin disorder, liver impairment, and kidney malfunction. This information is critical for dose alterations and in planning your child’s overall treatment.
Montelukast blocks certain natural substances called leukotrienes which may cause allergies. It reduces swelling, relaxes airways and helps to make breathing easier
Levocetirizine blocks histamine, a natural substance, which is produced by the body during allergic reactions
Levocetirizine is rapidly and extensively absorbed following oral administration. In adults, peak plasma concentrations are achieved 0.9 hour after administration of the oral tablet. The accumulation ratio following daily oral administration is 1.12 with steady state achieved after 2 days. Montelukast is rapidly absorbed following oral administration. After administration of the 10-mg film- coated tablet to fasted adults, the mean peak montelukast plasma concentration (Cmax) is achieved in 3 to 4 hours (Tmax). The mean oral bioavailability is 64%.

You should not take the LEVOCETIRIZINE+MONTELUKAST if you are allergic to levocetirizine or montelukast, have severe liver or kidney problems, or have epilepsy. Check with your doctor if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other prescribed or non-prescribed medicines.

Levocetirizine+Montelukast is used for sneezing and runny nose due to allergies, Hay fever and Allergic skin conditions. Levocetirizine + Montelukast is a combination of two medicines: Levocetirizine and Montelukast, which relieves sneezing and runny nose due to allergies.
MONTELUKAST+LEVOCETIRIZINE+AMBROXOL may have an interaction with other anti-allergic drugs, NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen, diclofenac), antifungals (fluconazole, miconazole, or voriconazole), heart medications (amiodarone), and antibiotics (amoxicillin, cefuroxime, and erythromycin).

If you missed any dose of medicine, take it as soon as you remember
If it's time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule
Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one
Symptoms of overdose include drowsiness, aggression, restlessness, thirst and headache
In case of an overdose, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital

Q: I have depression, can this medicine worsen it?
A: This medicine is known to cause side effects like anxiety, depression, irritability and suicidal behaviour. It would be best if you are cautious as there can be an increased frequency of suicidal thoughts. In case it occurs, immediately inform your family and doctor.
Q: Can I take this medicine during an asthma attack?
A: No, it will not help in an acute attack of asthma. It is advised to take appropriate rescue medicine like inhalers given by your doctor during an asthma attack. Keep taking this medicine as well and do not stop it abruptly.
