Multiple myeloma is a type of cancer that affects a type of white blood cell (plasma cell) that collects in the bone marrow and divides uncontrollably, leading to kidney and bone damage. Myelodysplastic syndromes are a group of disorders that occur due to the abnormal functioning of blood cells.

Mantle cell lymphoma is a cancer of the lymph tissue where the B-cells or B lymphocytes (white blood cells) grow in an uncontrolled manner and build up in the lymph tissue, blood or bone marrow. Follicular lymphoma is slow-growing cancer that affects B lymphocytes that help fight infection.

Basic Information

Mechanism Of Action

LENOMUST 25MG CAPSULE works by enhancing the immune system that indirectly attacks the cancer cells. It stops the growth of new blood vessels within the tumour. It also limits the production of chemical messengers (cytokine and growth factor) which are responsible for the growth of cancer cells.

Pharmacokinets

Approximately 82 % of an oral dose is excreted as lenalidomide in urine within 24 h. Lenalidomide has a short half-life (3–4 h) and does not accumulate in plasma upon repeated dosing. Its pharmacokinetics are consistent across patient populations, regardless of the type of hematologic malignancy.
