Loceryl Nail Lacquer belongs to a class of anti-fungal medications. It inhibits the enzymes that are essential for fungal growth, thereby killing a wide variety of sensitive fungi.
Amorolfine or amorolfin, is a morpholine antifungal drug that inhibits the fungal enzymes D14 reductase and D7-D8 isomerase. This inhibition affects fungal sterol synthesis pathways, depleting ergosterol and causing ignosterol to accumulate in the fungal cytoplasmic cell membranes.

Amorolfine Nail Lacquer contains the active substance amorolfine (as amorolfine hydrochloride), which belongs to a group of medicines known as antifungals. It kills a wide variety of fungi that can cause nail infections. Amorolfine Nail Lacquer is used to treat fungal infections of the nails.
AMOROLFINE may interact with respiratory-related medicines (budesonide, formoterol), drugs treating HIV/AIDS (ritonavir, cobicistat) and corticosteroids.
Check the label for directions before use. Trim your nails. Apply the medicine with applicator brush to the nail and its underside and let it dry for 30 seconds.

If you miss a dose of Loceryl Nail Lacquer, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Avoid getting it in your eyes, ears, nose or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
