Lornoxi 4mg Tablet should be taken before meals with a sufficient amount of liquid. Taking it with food is not recommended as food can reduce the effectiveness of the medicine. The dose and duration will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should keep taking the medicine even if you feel better until the doctor says it is alright to stop using it.
The most common side effects of this medicine include dizziness, headache, stomach pain, upset stomach, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and indigestion. If any of these side effects persist or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms.
Before using it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of stomach ulcers, heart diseases, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors before using the medicine.
Lornoxi 4mg Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation (pain and swelling).
Lornoxicam is eliminated following biotransformation to 5'-hydroxy-lornoxicam, which does not undergo enterohepatic recirculation. Glucoroconjugated metabolites are excreted in urine and faeces with a half-life of about 11 hours. Lornoxicam and its metabolites bind extensively to plasma albumin.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Lornoxi 4mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Lornoxi 4mg Tablet.

It is generally prescribed for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, acute lumbar‐sciatica pain and for post‐operative pain management. Different preparations are available, including 4 mg or 8 mg oral (standard or quick‐release) or injection (intravenous or intra‐muscular) preparations.
LORNOXICAM may interact with a blood thinner (warfarin, heparin, phenprocoumon), immunosuppressant (tacrolimus, cyclosporine), pain killers (aspirin), antacid (cimetidine), anti-rheumatoid (methotrexate), anti-psychotic (lithium), cardiac glycoside (digoxin), anti-diabetic (glibenclamide), ...

If you miss a dose of Lornoxi 4mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
