Lupimox Forte Capsule should be taken as per the prescription of the doctor. It is best taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. This medicine inhibits the formation of the outer membrane of bacteria and thereby kills the bacteria responsible for the infection.

Pharmacokinets

Amoxicillin is in a class of medications called penicillin-like antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic acid is in a class of medications called beta-lactamase inhibitors. It works by preventing bacteria from destroying amoxicillin.Dicloxacillin sodium is rapidly excreted as unchanged drug in the urine by glomerular filtration and active tubular secretion. The elimination half-life for dicloxacillin is about 0.7 hour. Oral LD50 in rat is 3579 mg/kg.
