The common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, etc. You may also experience injection site redness, swelling, and pain that goes away with time. If any of the side effects get aggravated, you must consult your doctor immediately. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.
Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are taking any medicines for any health condition. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult with their doctor before taking it. Avoid drinking alcohol as it can cause excessive drowsiness with this medicine. It usually does not impair your ability to drive, but you should not drive if it makes you feel sleepy or dizzy.
Magnova 1000 mg/125 mg Injection contains two different medicines, Cefepime and Tazobactum, that work together to kill the bacteria that cause infections. Cefipime works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Tazobactum reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefipime against bacteria.
Between 250 mg and 2 g, cefepime follows a linear pharmacokinetic model, and the absolute bioavailability of cefepime in pediatric patients (n=8) given an intramuscular dose of 50 mg/kg was 82.3%. The average steady-state volume of distribution of cefepime is 18.0 L.It works by killing bacteria that cause infection. Tazobactam is in a class called beta-lactamase inhibitor. It works by preventing bacteria from destroying piperacillin. Antibiotics such as piperacillin and tazobactam injection will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.

Magnova 1000 mg/125 mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections and Cefepime and tazobactam is used parenterally for the treatment of moderate to severe infections caused by or suspected of being caused by susceptible beta-Iactamases producing bacteria when cefepime alone would be ineffective.
CEFEPIME+TAZOBACTAM may interact with aminoglycoside antibiotics (streptomycin, neomycin, and gentamicin) as it may cause severe nephrotoxicity (damage to the kidney). It may also interact with a medicine used to treat gout (probenecid).
