Misty Soft Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Do not use too much or too little. Use it in the exact dose as prescribed by the doctor or as instructed in the label.
The most common side effects include irritation, burning sensation, and eye pain. If these side effects persist for a longer duration, inform your doctor. In case of accidental contact with your ears, nose, or mouth, immediately rinse it with water.
Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in this medicine or if you are taking any other medication. It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery immediately after using this medicine as it may cause temporary blurring of vision and may affect your ability to drive.
Misty Fresh Eye Drop contains hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance in various parts of our body, including eyes. In case of dry eyes, when the tears flow is reduced, hyaluronic acid acts as a soothing agent and reduces the irritation and discomfort of eyes.
CMC probably binds to HCECs through interaction of its glucopyranose subunits with glucose transporters. CMC binding to the matrix proteins stimulated HCEC attachment, migration, and re-epithelialization of corneal wounds.Limited pharmacokinetic data are available on glycerol. When given orally to humans, it is well absorbed and peak serum concentrations occur at 60-90 min. 33 McCurdy, et reported a plasma concentration of about 1.45 mg/ml at 60- 90 min after a single 1-1.27 g/kg oral dose of glycerol.

Carboxymethylcellulose + Glycerin is a combination of two lubricants: Carboxymethylcellulose and Glycerin. It works to lubricate the area of application and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Misty Soft Eye Drops may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Misty Soft Eye Drops may interact with the following drugs and products:
Floxacillin
Tincture myrrh
Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Misty Soft Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Your doctor has prescribed Misty Soft Eye Drop to reduce dryness in the eyes.
Wash your hands first before applying Misty Soft Eye Drop. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after putting the medication. This will prevent the medication from draining out. Try not to blink or rub your eye.
Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution of this medicine.
Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 minutes. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
