The doctor may ask you to take blood tests and liver function tests before starting treatment with MONTOMYCIN 450MG CAPSULE. MONTOMYCIN 450MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use if you have yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice).
Before taking MONTOMYCIN 450MG CAPSULE, it is recommended to inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney problems, diabetes, are underweight or malnourished, have a rare blood problem (porphyria), bleeding or a tendency to bruise easily. Also, inform your doctor if symptoms of tuberculosis return or get worse, are wearing contact lenses, are vitamin K deficient or have hypoprothrombinemia (deficient clotting factor).
MONTOMYCIN 450MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. MONTOMYCIN 450MG CAPSULE should be used with caution in children under 2 years of age and in elderly patients above 65 years of age. The most common side effects seen are nausea, vomiting, chills, fever. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve.
