Nefosar 20mg Injection is generally administered by a doctor or a nurse. Do not try to self-administer the medicine at home. Use it only when it is required. Do not use it in larger quantities or longer than the required duration.
The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, dizziness, nervousness, dryness in the mouth, difficulty in urination, hallucination, and numbness of extremity. Your doctor may regularly monitor your kidney function, liver function, and levels of blood components if you are taking this medicine for long-term treatment.
Before using this medicine, let your doctor know if you have ever had seizures, liver or kidney problems, glaucoma, difficulty peeing, or lactose intolerance. Let your doctor also know if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding.
Nefosar 20mg Injection is a non-opioid pain reliever. It works by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain thereby decreasing pain perception.
The absolute bioavailability of nefopam is low. It is reported to achieve therapeutic plasma concentrations between 49 and 183 nM. The drug is approximately 73% protein-bound across a plasma range of 7 to 226 ng/mL (28–892 nM).
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of convulsive disorders and should not be given to patients taking mono-amine-oxidase (MAO) inhibitors. The side effects of Nefopam 30 mg tablets may be additive to those of other agents with anticholinergic or sympathomimetic activity.
Nefosar 20mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Nefosar 20mg Injection may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Nefosar 20mg Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Nefopam is a painkiller. It treats moderate pain, for example after an operation or a serious injury, dental pain, joint pain and muscle pain, or pain from cancer. You can also take nefopam for other types of long-term pain when weaker painkillers no longer work. Nefopam is available on prescription only.
NEFOPAM may interact with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (phenelzine), tricyclic antidepressants (amitriptyline), benzodiazepines, sympathomimetic agents, anticholinergic drugs, and opioid drugs.
