Nit N Mite Lotion is an antiparasitic medicines. It works by killing the tiny insects (mites) and their eggs, which cause scabies.

Pharmacokinets

Possible pharmacokinetic interaction (increased percutaneous absorption of lindane). Avoid use of oil treatments or oil-based hair preparations immediately before or after applying lindane shampoo; lindane lotion should not be applied simultaneously with any other cream (e.g., conditioner), ointment, or oil.

Drug-Drug Interaction: LINDANE may interact with antipsychotics (haloperidol), bronchodilator (theophylline), antibiotics (imipenem, penicillins, and quinolone antibiotics), antidepressants (bupropion), immunosuppressants (cyclosporine, tacrolimus, mycophenolate mofetil), antimalarial drugs (pyrimethamine, chloroquine), antituberculosis agents (isoniazid), pain killers (meperidine), muscle relaxant (methocarbamol), radiographic contrast agents (iopamidol, iohexol)
