Nore T Tablet is a prescription medicine that can be taken with or without food. Take the medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The treatment must be completed even if you feel better.
Nore T Tablet may lead to some side effects such as nausea, dryness of mouth, stomach upset, etc. To overcome any such side effects, it is advised to eat a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of fluid. If any of the side effects get aggravated, contact your doctor immediately.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult with doctors before taking it. Avoid drinking alcohol as it can cause excessive dizziness with this medicine. In cases of severe liver or kidney disease, it is advised to consult your doctor before you start with the treatment. It is strictly advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery while you are on the treatment.
NFX exerts broad-spectrum bactericidal effects via inhibition of the essential bacterial enzyme DNA gyrase, an enzyme essential for bacterial DNA replication (2). It is used in the treatment of a variety of urinary tract infections, uncomplicated gonococcal infection, and gastrointestinal infections
Pharmacokinetics. "Absorption of norfloxacin is rapid following single doses of 200 mg, 400 mg and 800 mg. At the respective doses, mean peak serum and plasma concentrations of 0.8, 1.5 and 2.4 μg/mL are attained approximately one hour after dosing.

NORFLOXACIN+TINIDAZOLE should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor. Diarrhoea can cause dehydration, so please increase the intake of fluids. If you have constipation or have blood in stools, do not take NORFLOXACIN+TINIDAZOLE.
Nore T Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Consuming alcohol while taking Nore T Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Nore T Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
It works by killing the organisms that can cause infection. Indications: Norfloxacin is usually efficacious for urinary tract infections and for the treatment of uncomplicated gonorrhea (urethritis or cervicitis). Tinidazole is used to treat certain types of vaginal infections (bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis).
Drug-Drug Interaction: NORFLOXACIN+TINIDAZOLE may have interaction with pain killers (aspirin, ibuprofen), anti-coagulant/blood thinner (warfarin), anti-gout (probenecid), antibiotic (azithromycin, sulfamethoxazole, ciprofloxacin, trimethoprim, amoxicillin, metronidazole, nitrofurantoin, erythromycin), calcium
Do not chew, crush or break it. Nore T Tablet is to be taken with food.
Store below 30°C
If you miss a dose of Nore T Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Your doctor has prescribed this combination medicine for the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery.
Diarrhea can cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids to help rehydrate you.
Consult your doctor if your diarrhea lasts for more than 48 hours.
Do not use Nore T Tablet if you have blood in your stool or if you are severely constipated.
It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Nore T Tablet as it may irritate your stomach and also cause excessive drowsiness.
Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nore T Tablet is to be taken with food.

No, do not stop taking Nore T Tablet and complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
Q. Can Nore T Tablet increase the risk of tendon rupture?
Yes, Nore T Tablet is known to increase the risk of tendon rupture commonly in the achilles tendon. Tendon problems can happen in people of all ages who take Nore T Tablet. Inform your health care provider if you hear or feel a snap or pop, have severe pain, rapid or immediate bruising after an accident, and are unable to use the affected arm or leg. This may indicate that you have a tendon rupture.
Q. Can the use of Nore T Tablet cause metallic taste?
Yes, Nore T Tablet can cause a temporary metallic taste. This metallic taste can be reduced by chewing sugar-free gum or mints, brushing teeth after the meals and by staying hydrated.
