Normesis Plus Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. It is better to take it with food to avoid stomach upset. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
The most common side effects are nausea, dryness in mouth, indigestion, and weight gain. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine can also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.
Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.
The medicine inhibits bacterial DNA, thereby restricting the growth and eventually killing the bacteria.
Domperidone is rapidly absorbed after oral administration with peak plasma concentrations occurring at approximately 1 hr after dosing.. The Cmax and AUC values of domperidone increased proportionally with dose in the 10 mg to 20 mg dose range.Cinnarizine is most commonly taken orally, in tablet form, with frequency and amount of dosage varying depending on the reason for taking the medication. Once ingested, the substance is absorbed quite rapidly and reaches a peak plasma concentration in 1–3 hours post-administration.

Patients with significant electrolyte disturbances
Presence of gastrointestinal haemorrhage

Presence of prolongation of cardiac conduction intervals
Normesis Plus Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Normesis Plus Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

CINNARIZINE+DOMPERIDONE is used to treat inner ear disorders, vertigo, nausea, and vomiting. It consists of Cinnarizine and Domperidone. Cinnarizine is an antihistamine drug that blocks the effects of histamine (a chemical substance produced in response to allergy) in the brain to reduce symptoms of travel sickness. It is also a calcium channel blocker and improves blood circulation in the inner ear, thus reducing symptoms caused by vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in the ear), and Meniere's disease. Domperidone is an anti-emetic drug (that eases vomiting symptoms) that works by blocking the action of dopamine in the brain, which causes nausea and vomiting.
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Normesis Plus Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Normesis Plus Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:

If you miss a dose of Normesis Plus Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

You have been prescribed Normesis Plus Tablet to relieve vertigo (dizziness) and nausea associated with it. It can make you feel dizzy, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down for a long time.
Take it at the same time each day to maintain a steady amount of the medicine in your body.
Do not take it for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
Normesis Plus Tablet can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but may not completely stop them.

If you miss a dose of Normesis Plus Tablet, you should skip the missed dose and take the next dose at its usual time and quantity. You should not take a double dose of Normesis Plus Tablet to make up for a missed dose.
