Nulet 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably in the morning. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. It may take a few weeks before you start to feel better. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as this can worsen your symptoms.
Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, fatigue, nausea, vomiting and blurred vision. It also causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Drug-Drug Interaction: ARIPIPRAZOLE may have interaction with medicines used to lower high blood pressure (metoprolol), antipsychotics (olanzapine), antidepressants (fluoxetine, paroxetine, venlafaxine), antifungals (itraconazole, ketoconazole), medicines used to treat irregular heartbeat (amiodarone, flecainide, quinidine), HIV drugs (nevirapine, efavirenz, indinavir, ritonavir), painkillers (ibuprofen), antibiotics (rifampicin, rifabutin), anticonvulsants (phenytoin, carbamazepine, phenobarbital).
Drug-Food Interaction: ARIPIPRAZOLE may interact with grapefruit juice. Therefore, avoid intake of grapefruit juice with ARIPIPRAZOLE as it may reduce the effect of ARIPIPRAZOLE. Avoid taking St. John's Wort (herbal medicine used to treat depression) as it may interact with ARIPIPRAZOLE. Also, avoid alcohol intake as it may increase side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness or difficulty in concentrating.
Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have diabetes, abnormal blood pressure, high cholesterol, fits, involuntary muscle movements especially in the face, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), blood clots, history of stroke or heart attack, liver or kidney problems, inform your doctor before taking ARIPIPRAZOLE.

Yes, Nulet 5 Tablet may cause prolonged and painful erection (priapism) in some patients. It may also cause impulse control disorder wherein the patient may develop urges or cravings that are irresistible and unusual for that person. In this case, the patient may develop an abnormally high sex drive or may experience an increase in sexual thoughts or feelings. Consult your doctor who may modify your dose or may advise to stop Nulet 5 Tablet.
