Obeset 120 Capsule should be taken along with food in the dose and duration as per prescription. It must be swallowed as a whole. It works best when it is used along with regular physical activity and a healthy diet. It should not be taken for a long term unless your doctor tells you to do so. For better efficacy of the medicine, fat-rich foods should be avoided along with the medicine.
Some of the common side effects of Obeset 120 Capsule include the presence of fat in the stool, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. If any of the side effects bother you, tell your doctor without delay.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women must take this medicine only with a valid prescription. Inform your doctor before taking the medicine if you have any other medical conditions or are taking any other medications. This medicine should not be considered as a long-term treatment unless you are prescribed by your doctor.
Nitrazepam belongs to a group of medicines called benzodiazepines. It acts on benzodiazepine receptors in the brain which are associated with the GABA receptors causing an enhanced binding of GABA (gamma amino butyric acid) to GABAA receptors.
Pharmacokinetics. Nitrazepam is largely bound to plasma proteins. Benzodiazepines such as nitrazepam are lipid-soluble and have a high cerebral uptake. The time for nitrazepam to reach peak plasma concentrations following oral administration is about 2 hours (0.5 to 5 hours).

Consuming alcohol with Obeset 120 Capsule does not cause any harmful side effects.
Obeset 120 Capsule is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Nitrazepam Tablets should be used for short term treatment of insomnia only when it is severe, disabling, or subjecting the individual to extreme distress, where daytime sedation is acceptable. Treatment should be as short as possible and should be started with the lowest effective dose.
The therapeutic efficacy of Nitrazepam can be decreased when used in combination with Azatadine. Nitrazepam may increase the central nervous system depressant (CNS depressant) activities of Azelastine. The therapeutic efficacy of Nitrazepam can be decreased when used in combination with Azlocillin.
Obeset 120 Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time

If you miss a dose of Obeset 120 Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

You should not take Obeset 120 Capsule if you are allergic to it, have difficulty absorbing food (chronic malabsorption syndrome), and have cholestasis (a condition where the flow of bile from the liver is blocked). Refrain from using Obeset 120 Capsule if you are taking cyclosporine medicine or blood thinners like warfarin. Along with that, avoid Obeset 120 Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
